Our very special thank you for our work today...a hand-pained work of art!
Tzumpango is a historical Mayan town...and most of the townspeople still wear the typical Mayan dress, including the beautiful headwear (picture 4) which, unfortunately, does not include a hat which would prevent much of the sun-related issues that they suffer from. Picture 1 is before we set up and picture 2 was taken during the clinic hours. We had a very special thank you from the townspeople in the form of a beautiful hand-painted bottle. It was another wonderfully exhausting day!
