Once again, we delivered t-shirts, soccer balls and other equipment to a local school next door to the clinic. Not only did the children mob us, excited to receive what we brought but they grabbed us by the hands and led us around the school…they wanted to show us their world. Wow. The classrooms consisted of one very old desk per student, a desk for the teacher and really nothing else. Blank walls. But these children were still proud! They didn’t want to see us go, following us and hugging us and asking for pictures. Another good day that makes us realize once again how lucky we are in the US.
