A bonding experience
Today was another wonderful day...full of the unexpected! The road to our location outside of Tecpan was a long one (3 hours) but the crowd we saw gathered made it clear that we were very, very needed here. The climb was so steep at times that we had to disembark the bus, transfer some of the trunks and walk a little (picture 1). Then, once we got there, we all had to find the "facilities" which is shown in picture 2. Between the thrill of the ride, the challenge of the facilities, the humbling sight of the people in need and us being "in the groove" of having done this twice before, we really pulled together quickly to set up and get the job done. I am totally impressed with all of our students, their attitudes and their spirit. We saw 444 patients in a little over 4 hours.

You brought tears to my eyes...those of laughter, imaging the work to get to the facilities, and tears of appreciation for the peoples live's you are affecting with your presence.
