Today, Cortney and I went to class with the students and heard presentations they had developed on topics including: Customs and History of Guatemala, Parasitic Infections, COPD, GERD and Osteoarthritis (common ailments that we will see in the clinics). They did a great job and I learned a lot. I may have learned more than I wanted to know about parasites.
I snapped this picture on Wednesday when we pulled out the 40 cases that we will use to take the medicine and other supplies. Even though this looks like a lot, I have a feeling that we will all wish that we could take more!
